Effective 17 July 2026
Landt is a job-search tracker. The data in it is yours: the applications you log, the documents you write, the analytics computed from them. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, what our Chrome extension reads, which services process your data on our behalf, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, never readable by us), plus the name you set on your profile.
- Content you add — your CV, voice samples, case studies, target roles and salary preferences; the applications you log, including job descriptions, application answers, cover letters, interview prep notes, salaries and free-text notes.
- Technical data — session cookies to keep you logged in, a cookie remembering interface preferences (like your list/board view), and short-lived rate-limit counters keyed on your user ID or IP address to prevent abuse.
We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for product analytics — which features are used and where people get stuck — with session recording off. No advertising trackers, and nothing is shared with ad networks.
The Chrome extension
The Landt extension logs the job posting you are looking at into your account. It works like this:
- It reads the text of your current tab only when you click the extension and press "Start application". It never reads pages in the background, never monitors your browsing, and never collects history, keystrokes or form input.
- The captured page text is sent over HTTPS to landt.hirenexova.com for one purpose: extracting the job posting (position, company, description) to create an application in your account. The cleaned description is stored on that application; the raw capture is not kept.
- It authenticates with the session cookie of your existing Landt login. It has no access to other sites' cookies or data.
- Nothing from the extension is used for advertising, profiling, or anything other than creating the application you asked for.
Services that process your data
Landt runs on a small set of infrastructure providers, each processing data only to provide the product:
- Supabase — authentication and database. Your account and content live here.
- Google Gemini API — powers the AI features. When you use them (importing a CV, checking a match, generating a letter or answers, extracting a job posting), the relevant content is sent to the API to produce the result, under Google's API terms.
- Perplexity API — salary benchmarks. Your target role and location are sent to look up market ranges; your documents are not.
- PostHog (EU) — product analytics: page views and feature usage, plus AI-call metadata (model, timing, token counts — never the content of your documents). Session recording is off.
- Resend — delivers account emails (signup confirmation, password reset). Your email address and the message content pass through it; nothing else.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on signup.
- Stripe — payments, if you subscribe to Pro. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond running Landt for you. Aggregate, anonymized statistics (for example overall funnel conversion benchmarks) may be computed across accounts; they never expose an individual's data.
Your control
- Everything you add can be edited or deleted from inside the product.
- Deleting your account (Settings) removes your account and its data.
- The extension can be removed at any time from your browser; it holds no data of its own.
